Live, Online Fiber Laser Training for Hobbyists

This live, interactive bootcamp via Google Meets is designed to get you running your own laser safely and confidently. We'll dial in your machine together, and you'll get a recording of our session to keep forever. 

• No generic classroom setups. We'll work with you to tune and understand the exact laser that's sitting in your workshop, solving your specific issues. 
• This isn't a pre-recorded video you can't talk back to. It's a live, private session where you can ask every question you have and get immediate, tailored answers and screen-sharing support.
• Forget taking notes! Every training session is recorded, and you'll receive a downloadable video link afterwards. Rewatch complex steps anytime you need a refresher.   

• Choose a date and time that fits your schedule using our online booking calendar. 
• We'll email you a simple tech checklist, a list of materials to have on hand, and a starter pack of digital design files for our project.
• At your scheduled time, we'll connect via Google Meets for your private, hands-on training where I can see your screen and, via your webcam, your laser's workspace.
• End the session with a successfully completed project and the confidence to start creating on your own.    

•  Learn what Power, Speed, and Frequency really do and find a reliable starting point for your machine and materials. 
• We'll walk through every step of sending a job to your laser, framing it correctly, and executing the burn, resulting in a finished project. 
•  Learn the basic signs of common issues and how to make adjustments for a better result on your next project.  

•  A functional fiber laser connected to a computer with LightBurn software installed.
• A reliable internet connection.
• A webcam (a movable USB webcam is highly recommended) that can be positioned to give a clear view of your laser's work area.
• A microphone to communicate with your instructor.
• A Google account (to use Google Meets).
• A few basic materials (we'll provide a list, e.g., an anodized aluminum card or a slate coaster).
• Your certified laser safety glasses. (This is mandatory for the session to proceed).
