Each coin mAy vary in blackening and polishing. This is the result of each one being done by hand.

We use a powerful fiber laser to deeply engrave this intricate scene into a solid brass blank, creating a 3D-like relief with exceptional detail you can feel. You can trace the lines of the captain’s coat, the individual palm fronds, the wood grain on the treasure chest, and the rigging of the galleon in the distance.

After engraving, each coin is hand-finished. A chemical patina is applied to create depth and shadow, giving it a dark, mysterious look as if it has been buried for years. The raised surfaces are then carefully polished to a brilliant shine. Finally, a professional-grade clear sealant is applied to lock in the beautiful contrast and protect it on all your future voyages.
