This isn’t your standard surface-level engraving. This 1978 Eisenhower Brass Round has been subjected to a high-intensity, multi-pass laser process that carves deep into the metal, creating a “3D” architectural feel. The portrait of Eisenhower stands out in bold, high relief, allowing you to feel every line of the engraving. The “Liberty” and “In God We Trust” lettering is recessed with sharp, clean walls that catch the light and the shadow simultaneously. Hand-Finished Antiqued Patina To achieve its “relic” appearance, each coin undergoes a multi-stage finishing process: Forced Oxidation: We use a specialized chemical process to darken the recessed areas, creating an artificial age that mimics decades of character. High-Point Polishing: The raised surfaces are hand-buffed back to a warm, golden brass luster, creating a stunning contrast against the dark, textured background. Tactile Texture: The background “field” of the coin features a micro-stippled texture that provides a unique grip and prevents fingerprints from showing during daily handling.
